Rivers of the Badger State - Fine Art Letterpress Print

Rivers of the Badger State - Fine Art Letterpress Print
Rivers of the Badger State features the elevation of the state of Wisconsin overlaid with a carved block of the rivers and lakes. Wisconsin hosts 84,000 miles of rivers and streams. The landscape was formed by the Laurentide Ice Sheet 30,000 to 10,000 years ago. The glacier did not reach the southwest of the state, leaving the ‘Driftless Region’ with a more rugged and hilly terrain.
The State Park series features the varied landscapes found within Illinois, and is representative of the vastness of the American landscape. Each print features one hand-carved block and two layers of abstract color fields created using type-high wood blocks. All three layers are letterpress printed.
Available framed or unframed - frames are solid wood and made in the USA.
