Showy Lady’s Slipper, Cypripedium reginae, is a rare native orchid; these white and pink beauties feature a recognizable pouch and grow in moist fens, woodlands, and the edges of bogs. These long-lived flowers share a reliant symbiotic relationship with their fungal neighbors for germination.

The flora & fauna series features the multitude of beings that call the Midwest their home. Each print features one hand-carved block and two layers of abstract color fields created using type-high wood blocks. All three layers are letterpress printed.
